Some GREAT AJAX and DHTML stuff

Wow, its been way too long :)

If you've been around tech lately, and are at least in some way interested in web technologies, you've probably heard about AJAX and DHTML. Or maybe you've seen some great examples of them in use. Such as Gmail, The new Google Start Page , or even Micro$oft's own start.com.

So, I just started my Masters in Computer Science at CalState, and I am taking a software engineering class. In this class we have to do a project to create a webbased app that allows the teacher(He's the chair of the dept.) to use a Drag'n'Drop interface to schedule classes for upcoming quarters. I immediately thought, wow, what a great project to use AJAX and DHTML on. So when I got home I did a google search for AJAX Drag and Drop on google.com.

I found the website of Walter Zorn, which among other great javascript libraries, contains an LGPL based javascript drag'n'drop library for doing all kinds of AWESOME dhtml manimupation of images and layers and so forth. I highly recommend checking it out.
